Zee Wilson
September 8, 1926 - January 23, 2021
ZEE WILSON Zerelda “Zee” Copeland Wilson entered her final rest on January 23, 2021 from her home overlooking the Lake of the Ozarks. Zee was born on September 8, 1926 in Rosedale, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Wesley and Leoma Mae (Sillyman) Copeland; brothers, Darwin Copeland and Garlin Copeland; son, Steven Leslie Wilson; husband, Paul Leonard Wilson and granddaughter, Lucretia Sue (Hunter) Johnson. Zee is survived by immediate family members, sons, Garry Copeland and Leonard (Kay) Wilson; daughters, Caren (John) Crabtree and Pam Moore. Zee's loving children through great-great-grands number forty-four, plus many extended family. For those few survivors of Zee's Argentine, Kansas 1944 graduating class, she looks forward to greeting the rest of you on your graduation day and into your new mansion in our Father's house where love still reigns supreme. The Gravois Mills United Methodist Church has been a cherished destination for fellowship and worship for many years as she supported it with her prayers, her presence, her gifts, her service and witness. A mission trip to Louisiana in the wake of hurricane Rita was one of many memorable experiences. The family wishes to express our thanks for your thoughts and prayers as Zee's sojourn with us yielded to her graduation into a realm we do not understand. A heartfelt thanks to the Lake Regional Hospice staff and team for their special care of Zee and a family that feels the pain at the loss of her intimate love. Of the seeds of love Zee has sown among us, please nurture them with your desire to seek peace and do good, at the very least to "Love family, friend and neighbor, as yourself". A future memorial service will be announced in area obituary notices. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
