Terry Gail Stafford

Terry Gail Stafford, age 65, of Columbia, formerly of Versailles, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. He was born July 8, 1955, in Versailles, a son of the late Lester “Pete” and Helen Maxine (Branson) Stafford. On November 4, 2019, in Morgan County, he was united in marriage to his surviving wife, Linda (Hudgins) Stafford. Terry worked for the Morgan County Road District for many years until he was no longer able due to his health. He was happiest while riding his Harley on an open road. Terry was a member of the Versailles First Assembly of God Church. In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by his daughter, Billie Jo Corkerin of Henryetta, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Shannan Corkerin and Kylee Corkerin both of Henryetta, Oklahoma; four step-children; ten step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; brothers, Tom Stafford of Versailles, Frank Stafford of Idaho, David Stafford of Warsaw and Dale Stafford of Warsaw; sisters, Sharon Arrett of Independence and Marjorie Phillips of Holden and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosalie King. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
