RAY SIEBENMORGEN Raymond Joseph “Ray” Siebenmorgen, age 89, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at his home. He was born January 1, 1932 in Sabetha, Kansas, a son of William Peter and Neta E. (Webb) Siebenmorgen. Ray was raised in Kansas and after graduating high school, he served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After being honorably discharged, he returned to Kansas where he worked as an automobile mechanic. He lived in Colorado for thirty years before retiring to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1994. He loved the outdoors, especially being on the lake, boating and camping. He was an avid trap shooter until his eye sight began to fail. Most of all, spending time with his family was important to him. Survivors include his children, Linda Sullivan and husband Robert of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, Carol Johns and husband Keith of White Hall, Arkansas and William Ray “Bill” Siebenmorgen and wife Kristen of Aurora, Colorado; seven grandchildren, Shavelo Sullivan, Michelle Peters, Jenifer Moore, Joshua Sullivan, Amanda Roark, Brandon Johns, Josh Johns, Holli Hilde and Shannon Cooper; eighteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Siebenmorgen of Sunrise Beach, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Francis Moore, Joyce Watkins, Rosemary McKenzie and Donnie Siebenmorgen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 13, 2022 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Laurie, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Thursday at the Church. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2022 at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Mercier, Kansas. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach.
