Michael A. "Mike" Lytle

Michael A. “Mike” Lytle, age 65, of Versailles, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was born September 1, 1953, in Charleston, South Carolina, a son of the late Charles and Doris (Palmer) Lytle. On August 15, 1987, in Wataga, Illinois, he was united in marriage to his surviving wife, Paula (Manon) Lytle. Mike worked as a truck driver transporting mail for the U.S. Postal Service for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed spending his spare time riding motorcycles. In addition to his wife, Paula, he is survived by his children, Chris Lytle of Columbia, Missouri and Rayel Lytle of Versailles, Missouri; his brothers, Tim Lytle and wife Jan, Jeff Lytle and Ed Lytle and significant other, Deb Hilligoss all of Galesburg, Illinois and several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Lytle. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 18th, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
