Michael Charles Hibdon

April 2, 1972 - April 13, 2022

Michael Charles Hibdon, age 50, of Versailles, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. He was born April 2, 1972, in Columbia, a son of Edward McNeil and Rebecca Gayle Hibdon. Michael owned and operated Heartbeat Communications. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Michael loved his children and grandchildren and treasured the time he spent with them. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his children, Raven Beth Mitchell-Hibdon, Weston Charles Hibdon and Ashton Michael Hibdon all of Versailles, Missouri; grandchildren, Dezmond Gauge Steinke, Spencer Raphael Steinke, Aramis Beck Steinke and Justin Izaiah Steinke; his father, Ed McNeil of Gladstone, Missouri; his brothers, Steven Bert Hibdon of Versailles, Missouri and Tanner McNeil of Commerce City, Colorado; sisters, Natalie McNeil of Gladstone, Missouri and Tabitha Hounschell of Derby, Kansas; his daughter, Talisa Hibdon of Stover, Missouri and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Becky and Harold Ballard. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 21st, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles with Reverend Mike Homan officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow at Silvey Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home to assist the family. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles.
