Lucy Landreth Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lucille "Lucy" Landreth passed away peacefully at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri on Tuesday May 16, 2017, with her daughter, Susie Kendall; grandson, Brian Kendall and his wife, Soraya and her great-grandson, Yoshua by her side. She is additionally survived by her son-in-law, John; her granddaughter, Kenna Kendall and other relatives including many nieces and nephews. Born in Trenton, Missouri on December 27, 1923, she lived most of the last sixty years in Gravois Mills, Missouri with her husband Lionel "Pee-Wee" Landreth until his death in 1994. She was also predeceased by her son, Lionel "Skip" Landreth, Jr. An avid fisherman, she loved the lake area and enjoyed fishing there for many years. Lucy also loved bowling, winning numerous trophies and awards. A hard working lady for most of her life, she will be best remembered working for Lyman Moore at “Buffalo Burger” for over thirteen years as well as previously working at several other restaurants in the Gravois area. In lieu of sending flowers, Lucy asked that donations be made to the Ozarks Kat and K9 Shelter of Sunrise Beach or Food For The Children Program of Morgan County. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at 2:00 p.m. at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Laurie. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.
