Joyce Darlene Frampton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Joyce Darlene Frampton, age 93, of Versailles, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. She was born September 1, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of the late Rudolph and Madeline (Yuneman) Rensner. Joyce’s passion was entertaining. She enjoyed singing and yodeling. At the young age of sixteen, she performed on live radio with The Westernaires in Chicago. Later, she performed with the Golden Girls, entertaining at various nursing homes and hospitals. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Tipton. Joyce was loved by all and will be missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her children, Rolan “Jeep” Worthan and wife Harriet of West Chicago, Illinois, Ronna Higgins of Versailles, Missouri, Randy “Buzz” Worthan of Norridge, Illinois, Rhoda Boyd and husband Stan of Versailles, Missouri and Robin “Pixie” Mitchell of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Beverly Red Cloud of Ann Arbor, Michigan and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lorraine Hamilton and Virginia Berendt, her son-in-law, George Higgins and a grandson, Joey Higgins. Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 7th, in the Versailles Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
