JOSEPH WILLIAM “J. Bill” WILLIAMS Joseph William “J. Bill” Williams, 75, of Camdenton, Missouri, entered into eternal life on Monday, April 6, 2020. He was born January 4, 1945 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Herschel and Mildred (Jeffries) Williams. He grew up in Camdenton, Missouri, attended elementary school and graduated from Camdenton High School in 1962. He remained a lifelong resident of the surrounding area. After high school he began a 36-year career working at Southern Bell Telephone Company, as a lineman/cable splicer, until his retirement. In his youth, he was an original member of ‘The Tadpoles’, a clogging square dance team that was founded and organized by Buford Foster. He was a member of ‘The Communication Workers of America’ and the ‘Telephone Company Pioneers’. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, deer, elk and wild turkey. And during his years in retirement, he loved his time spent with his brother-in-law, Danny, setting and checking their trotlines on the lake, he also enjoyed, yearly reunions with his cousins at Table Rock Lake and playing ‘Shut the Box’ with his buddies during their weekly get together. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herschel and Mildred (Jeffries) Williams; step-son, Todd Jenkins and brother-in-law, Danny O’Brien. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lu (O’Brien) Jenkins; three sons, Eddie Williams, Jeff Williams and John Williams and his wife LaRae; one step-son, Brien Jenkins; two grandchildren, Jodili Sharton and Jonas Williams; three step-grandchildren, Connor Jenkins, Haley Jenkins and Mason Jenkins; one great grandson, Robert Velasco and many loving cousins and special friends.
