James "Danny" Lewis

James “Danny” Lewis, age 56, of Gravois Mills, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at his home. He was born June 16, 1962, in Indiana, a son of the late James Lee and Anna Lee Lewis. Danny was employed at Country Club Hotel and Spa in Lake Ozark for several years. He was also a vendor at the Jacob’s Cave Swap Meet and the Flea Market in Versailles for many years. He was a jack of all trades who was known to fix anything that was asked of him. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. Danny loved his family and will be missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his son, David Ray Quick of Stover, Missouri; granddaughter, Olivia Quick; the love of his life, Tammy Lewis of Laurie, Missouri; several nieces and nephews and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter and four brothers, Ed Lewis, Jim Lewis, Jerry Lee Lewis and John Paul Lewis. A private family interment will be held in the Versailles Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
