Gladys Clark Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gladys Clark Gladys Elaine Clark, 87, of Gravois Mills, Missouri passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach. She was born April 6, 1929 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, a daughter of Arthur True and Grace (Robinson) Snyder. On December 16, 1946, she was united in marriage to Wiley Byron Clark, Sr. and together they shared forty-five years of marriage before his passing on June 25, 1992. In later years, she was blessed to have shared the love of a companion, Charles Johnston who also preceded her in death. Other family that passed before her were her parents; a brother, Wayne Snyder and a sister, Audrey Dalrymple. Survivors include her children, Susan Doolittle and husband Bruce of Ozark, Missouri, Wiley B. Clark, Jr. and wife Betty of Harrisonville, Missouri and Don Clark and wife Janice of Blue Springs, Missouri; four grandchildren, Suzy Dunavant and companion Tony Nanneman, Cheryl Flinn, Betsey Clark and Byron Clark; two great-grandchildren, Ted and Sydney Dunavant; a great-great-grandson, Nicholas Dunavant and other relatives and friends. She spent her younger years in Iowa and most of her adult life in Kansas City, Kansas where she worked for the Jones Store. She and Wiley retired to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1983. Gladys was a member of Gravois Mills United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and caring for her lake home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel. Burial will follow in Garber Memorial Estates. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Laurie Knolls and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
