Diane Reams Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

DIANE REAMS Diane Archer Reams, age 74, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Windsor Estates in Camdenton, Missouri. She was born February 6, 1947 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, a daughter of David Edward and Jennie Nell (Archer) Sherrard. On September 5, 1965 in West Des Moines, Iowa, she was united in marriage to Curtis Lee Reams. Happily, they shared the past fifty-six years of marriage. Diane was an active member of Kent Memorial Lutheran Church, where she served on several boards and committees. She was a lifetime member of Weight Watchers and worked for them for over thirty years. She loved her Weight Watchers family! She was an avid quilter. She spent many hours creating quilts with her quilting friends, the “Sew Sisters”, and on her own. She enjoyed time with her high school girlfriends who called themselves the “Valley Girls” and spent many evenings on Zoom as a group talking along with lots of laughter. Lake life suited her well; whether on the water or simply enjoying the view from her screened porch. She loved to go “catching” (not fishing) for white bass and crappie. She loved to go shopping and baking with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing late night card games with friends and family. Most of all, her family was precious to her. Survivors include her husband, Curtis Reams of the home; two children, Scott Reams of Lake Ozark, Missouri and Shannon Bullock and husband Travis of Gravois Mills, Missouri; five grandchildren, Shade Bullock, Jacob Reams, Carson Reams, Jaxon Bullock and Keegan Bullock; a sister, Myra Randles and husband Howard of Ames, Iowa; a brother, David Sherrard, Jr. of Des Moines, Iowa and a host of other relatives and many friends. A celebration of life will be held from 2:30-3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Kent Memorial Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 2:00-2:30 p.m. at the church. Fellowship with family and friends will follow. Entombment will be in the Kent Memorial Columbarium. Memorial donations may be made to Kent Memorial Lutheran Church or Lake Regional Hospice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
