Together they shared fifty-six years of marriage before his passing on June 19, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings, Joe Patterson, Dorothy Waisner, Freida Laughhunn, Hazel Scott, Ruth West, Jackie Patterson, Mary Lou Pipes and Bud Patterson and a great-grandson, Cooper Brian Hibdon. Milking cows and tending to the horses was part of her daily life on the family farm. The family enjoyed traveling around showing horses. They enjoyed camping with friends and family and riding horses. Billie loved attending the Cross-Country Trail Ride in Eminence, Missouri. She was very proud to have recently received her 30-year belt buckle for attendance at the event. Most of all, spending time with her family brought her joy. She was a long-time member of Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church in Laurie. A graveside service and burial will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Ozark Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:30-3:00 p.m. at the cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Ozark Chapel Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice.
