PATTI STIEGMAN Patricia Ann “Patti” (Milcherska) Stiegman, age 79, passed away at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri on Sunday, October 6, 2024, lovingly surrounded by her family. She was born November 11, 1944 at Ingalls Hospital in Harvey, Illinois to her parents, Raymond and Ruth Milcherska. Patti attended Oak Lawn Community High School in Oak Lawn, Illinois and was a graduate in the class of 1962. Patti is survived by her loving daughter, Pamela Joi (Stiegman) Price and husband Rob of Lake Ozark, Missouri; an adopted daughter, Marita Dale of Point Lookout, Missouri; grandchildren, Anna Elise Root (Corbin) of Windsor, Missouri, Matthew James Price of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Jacob Michael Walter Price of Lake Ozark, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Kiylay Shay Stiegman, Nova Violet Chaffee, Holden Dean Roe and Lachlan Samuel Root; sister-in-law and best friend, Helen Milcherska of Shorewood, Illinois; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Warren and Cindy Stiegman of Canton, Georgia, Carol and George Lacharite of Jacksonville, Florida and Bob and Jan Smit of Nokomis, Florida; nephews and nieces, Jodi Walker, Sherri Puente (Art), Jackie Hulst (Brian), Ron Stiegman (Karen), Jimmy Dekker, Heidi Lucas (Bob), Lisa Ligon, Jeff Stiegman (Brettnye), Amy Beezie (Dan), Libby Smit (Michael) and Kerrie Byrnes (Milcherska); a cousin that is more like a brother, Norman Milcherska (Shirley) of South Bend, Indiana; and very special friends, Jean Stahlin of Springfield, Missouri, Nancy Rogers of Gravois Mills, Missouri, Galen, Josie, Paige and Hayden Barlow (Katie) all of Eldon, Missouri. Patti was preceded in death by her loving husband of thirty-six years; brothers, Phillip Milcherska, Randy Milcherska and an infant, Donald Joe Milcherska; her parents, Ruth Young and Raymond Milcherska; a step-father, Wayne Young; nephews, Kyle Madison and Randy Milcherska; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Edith Stiegman and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Walter and Ilse Stiegman. She was united in marriage to her best friend, Duane E. Stiegman on May 27, 1967 in Harvey, Illinois until his passing on June 4, 2003. On December 23, 1969, they welcomed their beautiful, sweet daughter, Pamela Joi. They were totally smitten with their bundle of joy. Patti was the manager of Prince Castles in Oak Lawn, Illinois until her daughter was born. Later, she worked for Montgomery Wards in Evergreen Park, Illinois for twenty years until her retirement. Patti and Duane moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1990 and she began a career in Real Estate that spanned twenty years. She was the past-president of the Women’s Board of Realtors. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing BINGO and playing card games, board games and poker with the family. She loved living at the lake and especially enjoyed boating where she preferred to be the captain. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and considered her daughter her best friend. Patti loved the Lord. She also loved coffee, Pepsi, chocolate and jalapenos. She had a vibrant personality. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Sunrise Beach. Burial will follow in Garber Memorial Estates, Laurie, Missouri. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
