Gregory Del Hall

Gregory Del Hall, age 84, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Liberty Hospital. He was born March 22, 1941, in Webster City, Iowa, a son of the late Delmar and Susan (Harrah) Hall. Greg proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps until his honorable discharge on July 7, 1965. He lived by the values of a Marine and stayed true to Semper Fi. On August 28, 1966, he married the love of his life, Barbara Bloomcamp at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Manson, Iowa. They were blessed with three sons, Michael, Christopher and Corey. He had a career in banking that spanned over fifty years until his retirement. He served the communities of Richmond, Versailles, Concordia and Laurie among many others over the years where he made lifelong friendships. Following his retirement, he continued to serve on the board of directors for Concordia Bank. Greg enjoyed staying busy and spending time outdoors. He loved his farm where he hunted and spent time maintaining the property with his favorite “toy”, his skid steer. He always looked forward to quality time spent with his sons and grandchildren at the farm. He was a loving husband, dad and papa. Greg was a true patriarch and led his family by example. He was always there to offer his love, support and helpful advice. He and Barb enjoyed many moments together watching their children and grandchildren excel in their various sports and activities. His faith and his family were most important in his life, especially his grandchildren who made him the proudest. He is survived by his sons, Michael Hall and wife Kara of Hartsburg, Missouri and Corey Hall and wife Suzanne of Versailles, Missouri; four grandchildren, Caroline Hall, Matthew Hall, Adam Hall and Landri Hall; his sister, Lisa Hall of Fort Dodge, Iowa; nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to his parents and beautiful wife, Barb, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Hall, sister, Susan Junkman and brother Stephen Hall. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 10th, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles with Nathan Tiemeyer officiating. Graveside services and interment with full military honors will follow in the Versailles Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Lake Regional Health Foundation - Barbara J. Hall Memorial Scholarship. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
