Jodie Neva Huff

Jodie Neva Huff, age 56, of Barnett, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012, at her son’s home in St. Charles, Missouri. She was born January 21, 1956, in Des Moines, Iowa, a daughter of the late Raymond Wayne and Martha Jane Stine Casper. On July 4, 1977, she was united in marriage to Charles O. Huff, who survives the home. Jodie was a server for over 20 years at the Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark until her retirement. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She attended the Ridgeview Mennonite Church in Barnett. In addition to her husband, Charles, she is survived by her son, Charles Huff and wife Beth of St. Charles, Missouri and their daughter Chloe; her daughter, Cooleen Hall and husband Bryan of Warrensburg, Missouri and their daughter Isabelle Rena; her daughter, Charlene Huff of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and her children, Amy Hawkins and John Koch; her daughter, Tracey Marie Holthaus of Las Vegas, Nevada and her son, Cody; Vicki Thompson and husband Tom of Brandon, Florida and their daughters, Lexie and Hannah; and her son, Charles Jeffrey Huff of Phoenix, Arizona and his daughters Tiffany and Amanda; her siblings, Anna M. Wright and husband Harold E. of Cole Valley, Illinois, Carol K. Majors and husband George M. of Corpus Christie, Texas, D’Wayne W. Casper and wife Barbara of Bussey, Iowa, Linda L. Delin and husband Jim of Des Moines, Iowa, Raymond L. Casper and wife Ruth of Colfax, Iowa, Randal G. Casper and wife Charlene of Ottumwa, Iowa, Richard Casper and wife Sherry of Sigourney, Iowa, Candice M. Price and husband Ray of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Danny F. Casper and wife Barbara of Albia, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald R. Casper and Larry “Jimmy” Casper and her sisters, Mary J. Brown and Cynthia D. Casper. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, at the Ridgeview Mennonite Church in Barnett with Bishop Stephen Ebersole, Minister David Huber and Minister Jeff Jarmon officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery near Barnett with Charles Huff, Bryan Hall, Chris Poss, Aaron Weaver, Stanley Stoltzfus and Barry Zimmerman serving as casketbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ronald McDonald House. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
