Back to Obituaries Sign the Guestbook Combs, Juanita Juanita Combs, age 80, of Versailles, passed away Thursday morning, July 13, 2006 at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. She was born August 30, 1925 at Barnett, Missouri, the daughter of Wiley and Lena Stephens McGines. She was united in marriage on February 21, 1946 with Norman L. “Whitey” Combs who preceded her in death on October 5, 2000. Mrs. Combs was a homemaker and a clerk at Shryack-Givens Wholesale in Versailles. She was a member of West Union Baptist Church near Versailles. She is survived by two sons, Jim W. Combs of Keota, Oklahoma, and Billy C. Combs of Jefferson City; one daughter, Brenda F. Smith of Versailles; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with Rev. Rod Campbell and Barry Grider officiating. Interment will be in the Versailles Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles.
