Back to Obituaries Sign the Guestbook Whittle, Venetia Y. Venetia Y. Whittle, age 74, of Stover, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Good Shepherd Care Center. She was born December 17, 1935, in Lakeview Heights, Missouri, to the late Paris James and Maggie Evelyn Burns Hunt. She was a member of the Family Worship Center Pentecostal Church of God in Versailles. She sang and played Blue Grass Gospel Music. Venetia is survived by two daughters, Janice Knierim and husband Eckie of Stover, and Rhonda Whittle and boyfriend Hans Anderson of Gravois Mills; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three step-sons, Billy Lee Whittle, Vinson Jack Whittle, Robert Whittle; four step-daughters, Sharon Francis, Suzanne Donovan, Lela Jean Crabtree, Beverly Jill Edgar; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Randy Lutjen; one granddaughter, Melinda Lutjen; two great-grandchildren, Landon Randall, and Parker Robertson; one brother, Vaughn Hunt; two sisters, Juanita Kerksiek , and Loretia Smith. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Interment will follow in the Stover Cemetery in Stover.
