Back to Obituaries Sign the Guestbook Thomas, Roger M. Roger M. Thomas, age 84, of Lake Ozark, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at Lake Regional Health System. He was born June 8, 1925, in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of the late Roger W. and Carolyn Jensen Thomas. Roger was a member of the Lake Ozark Christian Church, as well as a Lay Minister, leading services on fifth Sundays at local nursing homes. He was also a member of the RSROA, and the Lincoln, Nebraska Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by three daughters, Cindy Thomas of Lake Ozark, Valerie Burkholder of Eldon, and Patty Miller of Lake Ozark; one son, Roger W. Thomas of Houston, Texas; one grandson; one sister, Beverly Barclay of Arizona; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Corena Thomas. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2010, at the Versailles Cemetery. There will be a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Jude’s Hospital. Expressions of sympathy may be left online at www.kidwellgarber.com.
